False Bay Park

The Greater St. Lucia Wetland Park World Heritage Park (by Website Designers)

Forming the western arm of the 'H' of Lake St. Lucia, False Bay Park is over 22kms long but no more than 3kms wide with vegetation of open woodland and sand forest.

The park is very popular with anglers although there are a number of walking trails on which visitors might see zebra, hyaena, cheetah, warthog, kudu, several buck species and monkeys. The fishing is mainly for barbel and tilapia and there is also a pink backed pelican breeding colony nearby.

Accommodation is mainly for campers although there are four rustic huts.
