Database Integration

This simply means using a database to store page content rather than individual pages. Sites with lots of products are usually the ones that benefit from database integration. There are other advantages:

• It is easy to update the database so the website remains topical
• Visitors can choose between a simple list of items or a detail view
• It is easy to search the database
• Visitors can sort the database records in a variety of ways

Database records are seen by search engines so your website is not search compromised.

Your host (ISP) must use the Apache web server and support PHP (nearly all do).
