Content Management Systems

If your website needs to be kept up to date, a CMS may be for you. A CMS allows the user to edit his pages and to add new ones using the familiar MS Word interface.

There are over one thousand CMSs available, all claiming to be 'intuitive'. After trying a large number, we have decided that ModX is appropriate for most of our websites. It is fast and allows much more freedom of design than Joomla CMS. Some website designers are adept at developing Joomla CMSs but not at developing a successful website.

Associations, NGOs and schools are typically topical websites but any website that requires frequent editing will benefit from a CMS.

Blogs

Blogs permit clients to post date-sensitive information and keep visitors in touch with their businesses. Most blog content is visible to search engines and as such, enhnaces the search position of the website.

A basic Wordpress blog can be set up at minimal charge for our clients.

Don't use a CMS unless you're prepared to learn to use it.
